X-Ray Lead Glass Windows & Frames – Radiation Shielding for Medical and Imaging Rooms

All windows feature 2mm lead equivalency at 150 kVp, the standard requirement for most general diagnostic imaging applications. However, always consult your local radiation safety officer or medical physicist to confirm shielding requirements for your facility.

Safety Glass is required if the glass occurs in a door, within 24" of a door, or within 36" of the floor.

• Impact-resistant x-ray safety glass is available (meets impact resistant requirements per ANSI Z97.1 & CPSC 16 CFR 120)

• Designed to fit wall thicknesses from 4.25" to 8"

• Primer finish on all frames – ready for paint

• Rough opening is 1" larger than ordered size (e.g., 24" x 24" window requires a 25" x 25" opening)

• Visible glass area is approx. 1.25" smaller than ordered size (e.g., 22.75" x 22.75" visible glass for a 24" x 24" window)

• Our Lead Glass is 5/16" Thick
